Industrial Automation & Electrical Systems Ltd (“IAES”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you use iaestz.com, how we use it, and how we protect it.
Information We Collect
Browsing our website
You can browse iaestz.com without submitting any personal information. We do not require you to register or identify yourself to view our pages or products.
When you contact us
If you submit our contact form, request a quotation, or email us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, email address, company or organisation, and the content of your message. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, and maintain a record of our correspondence with you.
Analytics and technical data
We use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, which collect technical information such as browser type and version, device type and operating system, pages visited and time spent on the site, approximate geographic location derived from IP address, and the website that referred you to us. This data is aggregated and used for internal analysis and website improvement. We do not use it to identify individual visitors.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies — small text files stored by your browser — for essential site functions, shopping cart operation, and analytics. You can disable or delete cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site, including the online store, may not work correctly without them.
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations
- To process and fulfil orders placed through our online store
- To provide technical and after-sales support
- To improve our website, products and services
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
Sharing Your Information
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only where necessary to serve you or to meet our obligations — for example with couriers and freight forwarders to deliver goods, with payment providers and banks to process transactions, and with our accountants, auditors or regulators where the law requires it. Anyone we share information with is required to keep it confidential.
Data Retention
We keep enquiry and quotation records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted or archived securely.
Your Rights
You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, request that we correct anything inaccurate, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep. Contact us at office@iaestz.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. We handle personal information in line with applicable Tanzanian data protection law.
Security
Our website uses HTTPS encryption, and access to enquiry records is limited to staff who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information you give us.
Third-Party Websites
Our site links to third-party websites and services, including manufacturer product pages and our social media profiles. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top shows when it was last changed.
Disclaimer
The content on this website is provided for general informational purposes only. While we work to keep it accurate and current, IAES makes no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy or reliability of the information, including product specifications, which may change without notice and should be confirmed with us before ordering.
Use of this information is at your own risk. IAES shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising from use of this website. For specific technical or commercial advice, please contact our engineering team directly.
